Choosing an Anti Aging Moisturizer for Skin Type

Choosing the right skincare product, including an anti aging cream seems like trial-and-error for some women. They keep looking and changing those beauty products they’re using because they want to find that excellent one that works for their skin.  But then, looking for the best wrinkle cream doesn’t have to be a mystery, which is why you need to choose and use those that match your skin type. For a guide, check out the following guide.

Skin Type: Which Is Yours?

Know that there are three basic types of skin – and they’re the oily, normal and combination and two others include the sensitive and dry skin. Let’s focus on the three main types and discuss its characteristics as well as good products that you may use for it.

Normal skin

With this skin type, women don’t have much to worry much about their pores are small and they have an even skin tone.  However, you still have to take care of your skin with an excellent wrinkle cream that is vegan or natural. You may also go for one with antioxidant properties, which can provide you with supple and glowing skin.

Oily skin

Many women who have oily skin despair and think that finding that perfect face cream is impossible.  The problem that many of them encounter is that their faces feel greasy and oily most of the time.  They also suffer from breakouts and acne.

If you have this skin type, look for lighter, non-greasy and non-comedogenic products, which won’t block your pores while taking care of your skin. You can feel and look just right when you find this facial cream.

Dry and oily skin

Also called combination skin, dry and oily skin usually has dry and oily patches on their faces. Usually, the T-zone, which is the chin, nose and forehead, is oily, and the eyes and cheek areas are dry. But then, your T-zone might also be dry and oily on the cheeks and eyes. For women with combination skin, you might want to look for a face wrinkle cream that can address dry skin issues, such as inflammation and hyperpigmentation.

Products from Lightest to Heaviest: Which is for your skin type?

Face sprays or mist

They are light, water-based moisturizers usually containing vitamins, and they work by giving you that freshened complexion and dewy-looking makeup. But then, they’re not the only products to use for your skin moisturization needs.

Serum

Do you have an issue with your skin’s complexion? Serum is a fix that you can depend on, as it can solve issues, including skin dullness, dark spots and wrinkles. This product is light and absorbent and it allows the better absorption of other skincare products you’re using.

Cream

It’s thicker than a serum is, so it is ideal for women with dry skin.  That’s one rule about skincare you need to know – the drier your skin is the heavier the face cream to use should be.

Oil

For mature, dry or sensitive skin, using anti aging face oil can be good for moisturization, but then avoid it if you’re acne-prone.

There you have what to know about selecting a skincare product based on your skin type. In the end, what matters is you use only skin-specific moisturizer or beauty cream that will provide your skin with the moisturization it needs without irritating or harming it.
